Gower Meet 2007
Zoe was determined to celebrate her birthday (21 again!) in a weekend away so off we all trooped to the Gower, well 4 of us anyway.
We met Richard on the campsite where he was on holiday with his family. The campsite was right above three cliffs and the tide being in our favour we wandered to the beach and crossed the river to the crags.
We had a pleasant afternoon wandering up and down the easy slabs at three cliffs.
Alan had his balance back and was determine to make up for lost time and zoomed up and down as many routes as possible.
Alfie and Lesley had joined us from Swansea and we managed to get Richard's daughter to climb a route as well as Lesley in mountaineering style.
As the tide approached Alan was determined to squeeze out a last route. So we hauled most of the stuff back over the river and let him be the last one to cross.
The weather held out again on Sunday so we wandered back down to the crag again did a few more route and then headed home just as the rain started.
